First of all, before you go, look at parking and plan it. There is a Park and Ride at the top of town or you can also use some websites to park on peoples' drives (ie Just Park).
There is some parking in Mayor's Avenue Car Park (4 hours, but not overnight). Also, on roadsides (2 hours - check the times, because some places can do 4pm-6pm and leave overnight, maybe even getting 2 hours in the morning)
The best thing to do is to drive to the front door, drop you bags etc in, then go and park.
